To connect the Apogee AD-16 and DA-16 to the Pro Tools HD 192 Digital I/O, you can utilize a AES/EBU connection at 96k.
This special cable connects the AD and DA-16 directly to the 192 Digital I/O.

Application:
The AES-16-DIGI-IFC is needed to connect Apogee's AD-16 and DA-16 to the Digidesign 192 Digital. The AES-16-DIGI-IFC is a special cable designed specifically for this purpose.
Each connector is labeled to indicate the unit to which it should be connected.
There are a total of four DB-25 connectors on this cable.
One goes to the AD-16 AES output, one goes to the DA-16 AES input, and two connectors are for the 192 Digital. You will need two the digital option cards for the DA-16 to use 16 channels of AES.
