This is a great limiter plug-in that emulates the classic TG 12413 compressor, as found in the Abbey Road EMI TG 12345 consoles. You can switch between the more subtle ''1969'' mastering-style version, and the ''2005'' version, which is more aggressive and perfect for lead vocals.

The EMI TG12413 Limiter Plug In continues the tradition of EMI Limiters started in 1954 with the RS114 tube limiter, and continued with the RS168 Zener Limiter in 1968, part of the TG12345 console channel in 1969 and TG12413 Mastering desk version in 1972. Two versions are included in the TG Limiter Pack. The 1969 version is the historically accurate version from the TG12410 Transfer, or mastering desks, which has the original HOLD control. The 2005 is closer to the Chandler TG1 hardeware reissue which changed the HOLD control for a standard INPUT control and also has 12db higher input to the compressor. In use the 1969 version may be better at more subtle limiting while the 2005 with its extra gain hits much harder and closely resembles the sound of the TG12345 console version of the Limiter.
