Chandler Little Devil Equalizer

Technically and sonically speaking, the Chandler Little Devil Equalizer is steeped in the sound and function of all Chandler gear - discrete amplifiers, inductors, transformers, and quality American build. You won't find any surface mount or ribbon cables in the Little Devil (used to build cell phones and computers) that are becoming popular money-saving and sound-crippling build techniques used by some other manufacturers.

Chandler Little Devil Equalizer Features :

• All controls are marked +/- 1 to 6 in the playful DEVIL spirit of the concept.
  
• Treble and bass shelf +/-18db. Treble is set to 12k while Bass is selectable 50 and 110hz.
  
• HI and LO Mid +/-18db with hi and lo Q switching. Inductor based english style with 7 selections per band.
  
• Hi Mid - 8k2, 6k8, 5k6, 4k7, 3k3, 2k7, 1k2
  
• Lo Mid - 820, 560, 470, 390, 330, 270, 220
  
• Three position filter. 47, 82, and 150hz.
  
• Hardwire bypass.
  
• Will run without problem on any 500 series rack and Power Supply Unit.

Chandler Limited's Little Devil Equalizer fits into any 500-series "lunchbox" module, putting Chandler's all-discrete circuitry, transformer-balanced designs, and premier hand-made quality into the popular modern format. The Little Devil Equalizer is an English-style console EQ, which uses concepts from famous 1081 and 33115 vintage units. Its features a treble and bass shelf with +/- 18dB, with treble set to 12k and bass selectable between 50 and 110Hz. Hi-mid and lo-mid offer +/-18dB, with 7-selection "Q" switching on each band. There's also a 3-position filter and hardwire bypass.

Chandler Limited designed the Little Devils to be compatible with the newest version of the API lunchbox. The older API lunchbox version may have insufficient available current. Around 2006-2007, API changed the power transformer in the lunchbox to increase available current.

There are NO compatibility issues with the 10-space API Rack, the newer 6-space API rack or other 500-series racks.

If you experience operational difficulties, you can "jump start" an older API lunchbox by turning it on for 3 seconds, off for 3 seconds and then on again.
