The EVE/NET box is a compact, full capability remote unit, which provides total control of the Orville and current H-Series Processors. It allows simultaneous control of up to eight program parameters utilizing innovative rotary encoders with integral LED circular bar displays which indicate current settings.
Introduced as a versatile and economical remote control system, the EVE/NET system is a local network which links from one to four or more EVE/NET remote control units with one to four or more Eventide Harmonizer brand effect processors.
The flexibility of the EVE/NET system makes it an ideal choice for multi-room recording, post production and broadcast facilities, as well as live sound venues.
EVE/NET is flexible, inexpensive, and best of all, there's no learning curve. If you know how to operate an Eventide Harmonizer effects processor, you'll instinctively know how to operate the EVE/NET remote.
Eventide EVE/NET Features :
- Remote control for up two four Orville, Orville/R, H8000, H8000A, or DSP7000 series processors
- All controlled units can be connected via a single cable over a range that can exceed one thousand feet
- Allows simultaneous control of up to eight program parameters
The EVE/NET Network Remote Control System is a sophisticated approach to controlling multiple audio processing units. It allows essentially any number of small remote control units to select from and control essentially any number of rack mounted Eventide Harmonizer Brand effects units.
Currently the H8000™ and H8000A are supported, as well as the Orville™, DSP7000 and DSP7500. All controlled units can be connected via a single cable over a range that can exceed one thousand feet.
The EVE/NET displays four input or output channels at a time.
To select between channels 1-4 and 4-8 for EVE/NET meter display, you should use the "order" control on the LEVELS/METER page.
When it is set to "1-4, 4-8" this will give normal operation on H8000 and show the first 4 on Evenet.
When set to "5-8, 1-4" it will give you the second 4 channels on Evenet and reverse the groups of 4 on H8000.
