The Lifeline:
Connect the Magma expansion system to your computer through the our PCI host interface card. Magma patented PCI Expansion Tecnology extends the PCI bus through a 1 or 1.5 meter expansion cable. The cable provides a high-speed communication link between your computer and our PCI Expansion System.
Univeral PCI host interface card:
Works in computers that use either 5 volt or 3.3 volt signaling. A low-profile version of the PCI host card is available for computers with half-height PCI slots.
Stay Cool and Quiet:
A 310W Silencer power supply and Silencer cooling fans keep noise to a minimum, while providing plenty of power and cooling for even the most demanding PCI hardware applications.
Save Your Work:
There is room within the enclosure to mount one 5.25" removable disk drive and two standard 3.5" x 1" disk drives, or mount four 3.5" x 1" disk drives to provide a massive amount of storage space for your mobile computer. Add a RAID controller card to one of the PCI slots to create your own RAID array for your laptop.
Rack It or Stack It:
Rugged black metal enclosure can be rack-mounted or stacked on a tabletop. In a rack-mount configuration, the expansion system is only 2U high. As a tabletop/desktop unit, it can be conveniently placed underneath your notebook.
Easy Installation:
Install the Magma ExpressCard/54 module into the ExpressCard slot of your notebook computer, connect the cable, add your PCI cards and disk drives, power up and go.
