For sale are a racked pair of original Trident A Range Mic Pre/EQ modules from the first console Cherokee Studios purchased new from Trident Audio Developments in England in 1975. This was the original Studio 1 console that was later moved to Studio 3 where it remained until the studio’s closing in 2007.
Product Features:Cherokee Studios’ Trident A Range consoles are not only legendary for their location at a world famous recording studio, but these particular consoles have been said to be the “best sounding” in the world. The circuitry for the Mic Pre/EQ in the Studio 3 console has never been altered from the original design by Trident. The legendary Trident A Ranges were originally built by and for Trident Studios in London. When word spread about this revolutionary new multi-track recording console design, other studios placed their orders. Cherokee Studios was one of the early recipients of one of the first production models, and ultimately purchased three. With only 13 consoles ever built of this model, the Trident A Range has attained a near mythical status in the professional recording industry. “Though it had a very limited run, the Trident A Range console gained a reputation for its very distinct and pleasant sound with a very “musical” EQ section.
