The RND 5088 is the long-awaited mixing desk from renowned audio designer Rupert Neve. Its discrete, modular design provides a solid foundation on which you can build an analog recording and mixing system that exactly fits your needs. You can easily go beyond the standard configuration, and create a custom console with your choice of mic preamplification, equalization, and dynamics processing, from the Portico line of modules.

The Rupert Neve 5088 mixing desk represents a significant advance both in performance and philosophy of audio processing. A compact, 16 input, Line Level mixer, each channel features selection, either directly or via a Panpot, to 8 main mixing busses, a Direct output, a Stereo buss and full Monitoring facilities. When complemented with Portico™ or other high quality analog input modules, the RND 5088 can be relied upon to establish a performance benchmark that takes its place sonically at the top of the Rupert Neve Heritage. The 5088 custom transformers and op-amps produce 10dB greater dynamic range than any previous Neve design, producing a warmer, sweeter sound that is the sonic trademark of Rupert Neve.
