Sony C-800G PAC

The Sony C-800G features a high-quality dual large diaphragm for true reproduction of vocal qualities, vacuum tube warm sound quality through a 6AU6 vacuum tube, a unique Peltier-based cooling system to achieve optimum tube operating temperature, and an electronically selectable pick-up pattern (Omni/Uni) for various recording applications.

The C-800G tube condenser microphone is designed for vocal and instrument recording where professional level signal reproduction is crucial.
At the core of the C-800G's excellent sonic character is a 6AU6 vacuum tube. The tube provides outstanding warmth and presence to the input signal making the microphone a viable solution for instrument and vocal recording.

The large diaphragm condenser element yields a true frequency response of 20Hz to 18kHz with a dynamic range of 113dB. The result is an even, flat frequency response that maintains detail with low signals and transients.

Cardioid and Omni-directional polar patterns are user switchable at the the front of the microphone. This allows complete pick-up control for instrument and vocal capturing.

The C-800G microphone sports a Peltier-based cooling system, keeping the vacuum tube at a safe operating temperature and adding to the unique look of the microphone.
