The Brauner Phantom Classic is the latest incarnation of the Phantom C, and is Brauner’s first solid state condenser mic. Similar to the Phantom V, the Phantom classic is essentially the same microphone but without the options for directional response. It is a stunning large diaphragm microphone. The style of the mic is very similar to other Brauner models, and includes an ingenious shock mount. As with all Brauner’s mics the engineering is extremely high quality, as is typical of the county of origin! The Brauner Phantom Classic uses the same capsule as most other Brauner mics, and thus can be relied upon for the incredible subtle yet powerful sonic reproduction that has come to be expected of such high end microphones.
