SPL De-Esser
Ask an audio person the components of a de-esser, and they'll give you the standard answer: a compressor with a narrow band, high frequency EQ as a sidechain. The SPL De-esser does the same job, superbly, in a non-standard way: it re-injects a phase-reversed version of the detected sibilance, and reduces esses by cancellation. The results are both subtle and effective.
