The 162 compressor/limiter is a stereo device using true RMS level detection circuitry for a signal sensing and sophisticated voltage controlled amplifiers as the gain control elements.  The 162 uses a matched transistor pair in front of a TL08x opamp as well as a  351 opamp for the VCA The Classic Over Easy compression is smooth and sultry on Drum Bus and grabs bass tone in the most natural way.  These VU's are getting more and more sought after and would make an incredible addition to any producers rig.
