Reason version 4 is a self-contained studio that includes everything you need to turn your ideas into music. It's a complete music system, with instruments, effects, sample players, REX file players, mixers, and a powerful sequencer. You can load up as many of the included instruments and sounds as your computer can handle, and use Reason 4 as a composition tool or as a stand-alone bank of sounds for a live performance rig. The newly improved sequencer gives you deep automation controls for every aspect of Reason. Flip the Reason rack and you’ll see that you can easily repatch any of the connections – with patch cords or via pop up menu, and create a totally personal signal chain. Reason 4 will work equally well as your main composition tool, ReWired into your DAW for recording, and as a stand-alone performance sound bank. This latest update features Thor – a polysonic synth, the RPG-8 arpeggiator, and ReGroove, a unique groove altering device. Works in Mac OS X and Windows XP.
