GE BA9B Uni-Level varimu tube compressor The GE Uni-level was designed as a mono fixed level control device. The original threshold control and gain controls were brought up to the front panel. The unit sounds interesting and provides real depth in the bass with a sort of smattering effect on the upper mids.
Great All discrete, FET limiter. transformer in and out with Urei like sonic qualities. Neat subtle noise gate feature capable of some cool, compression effects. This one has the optional plugin mic preamp input transformer. Very cool unit
Vintage Telefunken V1140 steel tube microphone preamplifier Incredibly rare, from the heydays of German broadcasting design. This V1140 from the 1940s or 1950s according to my best knowledge. It’s a relative of the fabled V41a tube preamp. The tube complement is similar: EZ11, 2 * EF12, EF12k. Variable gain: ca. 45 .. 60dB.
