The Schoeps CM-51 microphone system was revolutionary as it was stylish. This microphone system was introduced in 1953 and can have 3 different capsules attached to the body. The bayonet mounted capsules are the CM 51/7 Omni, the CM 51/N9 cardioid, and the CM 51/U switchable Omni / Cardioid. For an almost 60 year old system this is in great shape. Owned and used by the famous Indigo Ranch Studios, Sonic Circus now has the privilege to sell this classic design microphone.
