The Shure Model 556a is a super carded type unidirectional moving coil dynamic microphone providing wide-range high quality reproduction of sound. Model 556a is especially constructed and tested to meet the requirements of the broadcast studio, and is held within close tolerances in frequency response, and directivity. The swivel allows the head to be tilted through an angle of 90° permitting the microphone to be aimed at the source of sound. The microphone is unusually rugged and is practically immune to the effects of moisture tempter and mechanical vibration. This microphone is in good condition. There no microphone input on it, only a wire hanging out from the back. Owned and used by the famous Indigo Ranch Studios, Sonic Circus now has the privilege to sell this “big Elvis” microphone.
