Royer R121 (Used)

Ribbon Microphone Released in 1998, the award-winning R-121 is the flagship Royer microphone; the world's first radically reengineered ribbon microphone and the model that reintroduced ribbon mics to engineers around the world. They did away with the large, heavy, fragile ''classic'' approach to ribbon microphones and went in a completely new direction. The R-121 gives all of the warmth and natural sound that experienced engineers have long turned to ribbon mics for, but in a compact, light-weight, high output and tough-as-nails package that was unheard of in a ribbon mic before the R-121. In its 10+ years in the market, thousands of R-121's have been sold around the world and it's well established as a standard for tracking electric guitar and brass. The R-121 redefined ribbon microphones so completely that Recording Magazine wrote ''...the Royer R-121 is destined to become one of the classic microphones of the 21st century.''

Shure 55S "Elvis Mic" (Vintage)

This is the Shure 55S Vintage Elvis Mic from Indigo Ranch. Introduced in 1939 and was Shure's first single-element unidirectional microphone. It looked similar, but had a somewhat wider body. This classic 'small Unidyne' version of the model 55S was introduced in 1951 with excellent performance qualities and distinctive styling ultimately make it 'the most recognized microphone in the world.'
The 55S microphone has a cardioid (unidirectional) polar pickup pattern that minimizes sound pickup from the rear of the microphone. This allows the Model 55S to be used in close proximity to loudspeakers without creating feedback problems, and it can perform under adverse acoustic conditions where omnidirectional microphones cannot.

The 55S series has a low-impedance (50 Ohm) balanced output designed for connection to microphone inputs rated at 75 to 300 ohms. The microphone features a cartridge shock mount to reduce stand noise and an attached, self-tensioning, 5/8-27 thread swivel mount. This mic does not have an On/Off slide switch.

This microphone is ideal for public address or theatre-stage sound systems, as well as for broadcasting, recording, and other sound applications where a stand-mounted microphone with a classic look is desirable.

Price: $475.00

Neumann M1-1A (Historic)

First pre-production Neumann Tube microphone 1928 This microphone is serial number 213 and we believe it dates back to the late 1920’s, and pre-dates Neumann’s first production microphone the CMV3.  It has a Torpedo Head, REO84K triode tube amplifier and a pressure-omni M1 capsule made from hand-cast, gold-plated colloidan. The eventual CMV (nicknamed the “Bottle mic,”) designation referred to "Condensator Mikrofon Verstärker" (condenser microphone amplifier) this is an earlier prototype version.  It is currently in perfect working condition in our private collection.
