Designed by Rupert Neve to deliver the unmistakable sound and performance of a classic analog console with modern reliability, the 5088 features Class A, single-ended, fully discrete amplification, custom-designed audio transformers on every input and output, outstanding build quality, and extraordinary headroom and dynamic range.

At the heart of the console, the 5088’s input section operates on ±45V (90-volt) power rails—a high-voltage, discrete architecture that provides significantly greater headroom, wider bandwidth, and enhanced sonic performance compared to traditional 24V Neve console designs.
