H2 Audio 5011 Helios 500 Series Equalizer (Used)
We have 2 modules available used. Priced per module
Formed in 1969 by Dick Sweetenham Helios produced the first console for Olympic Studios in London. Helios consoles famously produced some of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll records coming out of Londons British Invasion at that time. The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, David Bowie, Elton John, ELO, Iggy Pop, Dire Straits, Supertramp, Motörhead. Approximately 50 consoles were built in a 10 year span. H2 Audio has respectfully recreated the very desirable early “Olympic Helios” style circuit and fashioned the 2128 preamp and 5011 EQ into the 500 series form factor. The pair of modules will get you into the neighborhood of the iconic vintage sound of the early 0011 channel strip from the early consoles. Developed out of passion by Al Sutton who has a high standard as a producer/engineer as well as audio designer. Sonic Circus gives H2 audio our vote of approval for keeping these timeless designs alive.
