The Compex F760X-RS is a classic FET based compressor that was introduced the early 1970’s. It provides compression, peak limiting and expansion/gating all available simultaneously, in stereo. Dick Swettenham’s legendary Helios mixing consoles frequently used integrated ADR F760 compressor modules most noteably on the overhead and room mic setup for John Bonham’s massive drum sound on Led Zeppelin’s “When the Levee Breaks”.

All-Discrete Circuitry: Built using discrete transistor electronics and plug-in circuit cards.

Single FET Gain Cell: Employs a single field-effect transistor (FET) acting as a “vari-loss” amplifier to manage reduction.

Simultaneous Processing: Combines a compressor, a Simpson/Sifam metered peak limiter (100:1 ratio, 250 µs attack), and an expander/gate simultaneously in a 2U stereo chassis.
