Upton Microphones

Upton microphones has been developing the manufacturing, assembly and tuning process of the famous AKG CK12 capsule for about the last three and a half years. We also wind our own transformers for these mics. We make all of our own parts for these microphones in our own machine shop. We plan to upload videos of some of the machining and assembly processes we incorporate in the manufacture of our capsules, transformers and microphones in the near future.

The Upton C12 microphone is based on the classic AKG C12 condenser microphone.

The Upton 251 microphone is a condenser microphone based on the classic Telefunken Ela M 251 which was produced by AKG from around 1960 to 1965.
