Allen & Heath CTi1500 Control Surface dLive Digital for MixRack
dLive Power with Lightweight Titanium Construction
The “Ti” in CTi1500 stands for “titanium.” That’s because the Allen & Heath dLive CTi1500 was engineered with titanium side panels and alloy metalwork. The result is an ultra-lightweight control surface for your dLive mixing system. The CTi1500 is the epitome of simple. Control your mix with intuitive pinch, swipe, and drag and drop gestures. A 12-inch touchscreen and 12 faders provide you with at-a-glance visual feedback and tactile control of your mix. Assignable inputs, virtual scribble strips, and customizable SoftKeys add to the CTi1500’s effortless operation. And its compact “superleggera”-inspired chassis ensures that it’s eminently portable. Harness the full potential of digital mixing with the Allen & Heath dLive CTi1500.
Harmony User Interface Yields Incredible Tactile Control
The CTi1500 isn’t a digital mixer hiding under an analog-looking surface. It unleashes the full potential of digital, providing you with levels of control that are impossible in an all-analog world. If you’ve used a smartphone or tablet, you’ll find the CTi1500’s pinch, swipe, drag, and drop gestures familiar and easy to grasp. A dedicated multi-mode EQ view makes sound shaping as easy as wiggling your fingers. Configurable widget areas provide you with quick access to scenes, meters, effects, and more. Assignable SoftKeys give you immediate control over processing functions.
Incredible At-A-Glance Visual Feedback and Transparent Workflow
Using the Allen & Heath dLive CTi1500 is simple. A quick glance tells you everything you need to know. Despite the incredible arsenal of functions available, you won’t find yourself lost in complex menus. You don’t need to adapt to a different way of working to mix on the CTi1500. Its layout is customizable, so you can create a mixing interface that matches the way you like to work. Every input or mix can be assigned to every bank and/or layer. Virtual scribble strips ensure that all inputs and mixes are clearly named and color-coded. And the CTi1500’s screen remains visible in sunny outdoor settings.
dLive C Class Systems Offer Impressive Levels of Expandability
The CTi1500, when used in conjunction with MixRacks, combines to form a powerful and expandable system. A dLive C Class system is capable of delivering up to 160 x 64 inputs and outputs, all running at 96kHz. The MixRack is the brain of the system, containing the XCVI core, and is supported by a whole host of surfaces, apps, software, TCP/IP control, and IP remotes, all of which provide different means of controlling the mixer. A 128-channel I/O port supports Dante, Waves SG, ACE, and MADI, along with full compatibility with ME personal mixing systems. We’ve found dLive C Class systems to be flexible enough for corporate AV, multipurpose venues, houses of worship, theaters, and more.
